Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for acceptable use of the FanvueCRM platform and services ("Service") operated by Streamline Media FZ-LLC. This AUP is designed to protect our users, our Service, and the broader internet community from irresponsible or illegal activities.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your account at our sole discretion.

2. Lawful Use

You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you, including but not limited to laws regarding data protection, electronic communications, and intellectual property.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations in any jurisdiction
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or engage in phishing, scamming, or other deceptive practices
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code through or in connection with the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or computer systems and networks connected to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to scrape data from, overload, or otherwise abuse the Service beyond its intended functionality
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Upload, share, or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other individuals
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users' ability to use the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or any part thereof without our explicit written permission
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service

4. Content Standards

When using the Service to manage fan communications, you must ensure that all content you create, upload, or distribute through the Service:

  • Does not contain illegal content or promote illegal activities
  • Does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Does not contain malicious code, malware, or links to harmful websites
  • Complies with the terms and conditions of any third-party platforms you access through the Service
  • Does not impersonate other individuals or entities in a misleading way

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized parties
  • Use strong, unique passwords for your FanvueCRM account
  • Notify us immediately at support@fanvuecrm.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Only grant team access to individuals you trust and who have a legitimate business need
  • Review and revoke access for team members who no longer require it

6. API & Integration Usage

When using FanvueCRM's integrations with third-party platforms, you must:

  • Comply with the terms of service and acceptable use policies of the third-party platforms
  • Not use our Service to circumvent any restrictions, rate limits, or security measures implemented by third-party platforms
  • Not use our Service in any way that could cause the third-party platforms to take action against FanvueCRM or its other users
  • Ensure that your use of API connections is within reasonable parameters and does not constitute abuse

7. Resource Usage

You agree to use the Service's resources (bandwidth, storage, computing power, API calls) in a reasonable manner consistent with the intended use of the Service. Excessive resource usage that negatively impacts the Service for other users may result in temporary throttling, rate limiting, or account suspension pending review.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately at support@fanvuecrm.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You may report violations anonymously if you prefer.

9. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violations of this AUP and to take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Issuing a warning to the account holder
  • Temporarily suspending access to the Service
  • Permanently terminating the account without refund
  • Reporting illegal activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Taking any other action we deem necessary to protect the Service and its users

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
